South Maine Coons Cattery

Welcome to our small Maine Coons cattery, located in Warner Robins GA, USA we hand deliver our kittens in Georgia & ship anywhere in the United States.

Our priority is to breed healthy and beautiful kittens with the most loving and people oriented personalities. We specialize in outstanding genetics from WCF (World Cat Federation) gold championship European bloodlines. Our breeding Sire and Dams are mostly imported from Europe & Russia.

A little background about me, my name is Emiliya, I am originally from Europe and ever since I was a little girl I was fascinated with lions & the feline family in general.

I was very fortunate to have had the ability to travel the world and visit The Big Cat sanctuaries in South Africa and see the Lions, Tigers and Cheetahs in person among other animals.

After a very long period of research on what feline is best suited for my home, considering a lion was out of the question, I decided on a Maine Coon and so the journey of finding the right breeder and the right kitten for me began and the rest is history.

Frequently Asked questions

01 Where are you located?

We are an official TICA registered cattery located in Warner Robins, GA USA

02 Can we come visit your cattery and play with the Maine Coons?

We are a completely closed Cattery. It would be extremely stressful on our cats if we were to let strangers into our home regularly, let alone to try and touch them.

We do not offer stud services or allow any visitors. Clients who are picking up a kitten with a placed deposit may pick up in person but playing with the cats is not allowed. The visitors may be met outside of our home or only allowed in one allocated room, shoe covers and hand sanitizers will be provided. Usage of bathroom is not allowed.

We take great care with infection and parasites prevention to ensure you get a healthy kitten, most people have pets at home who may carry viruses and parasites that may be brought in the cattery on shoes and clothes. Some people will visit multiple catteries and handle many cats thus then putting ours at risk of contamination if we allow contact. We usually have newborn, unvaccinated kittens and pregnant Dams on site, it would be disastrous if they were to get contaminated.

We FaceTime or Zoom with all our clients at the time of choosing a kitten and up until the kitten is ready for pick up.

03 Is it okay to declaw my cat?

We do not allow nor condone declawing of our cats or kittens and this would entirely void your kitten application.

04 When is the earliest I can get my kitten?

We do not release any kittens before a minimum of 12 weeks of age. We reserve the right to retain a kitten for longer than the expected pick up date if we feel he needs more time to mature.

05 How do I reserve a kitten?

At the moment our reservation process is first come, first served. We do have a free waiting list at the moment, meaning you can fill out the kitten application and keep in touch until there is a litter. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required upon selecting a kitten, which happens after FaceTiming/Zoom and signing a Kitten Contract, this whole process usually takes about 2 hours.

06 What does a South Maine Coon Kitten come with?
 • TICA registration
 • Copies of parent’s Health Tests
 • Vet checked
 • Vaccinated against: Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Feline Bordetella
 • Rabies Vaccine optional as this is an indoor cat and the Rabis shot can wait until after the kitten is picked up.
 • Dewormed with Advocate or alternative at the Vet.
 • Microchipped

* South Maine Coon kittens are not fixed at 3 months of age, this is against everything we believe. A female can be fixed on or after 6 months and a male 8-10months, unless your vet determines it is okay to fix your male kitten a little earlier than 8 months.

Most importantly you get a guaranteed purring machine! A kitten raised with great care and love. A kitten that’s held and socialized from birth as well as used to interact with children and dogs. We groom our kittens regularly until they are ready to move to their forever homes to ensure you get a kitten that’s easy to groom and receptive to handling. Kitten claws are not cut prior to 12 weeks of age because they can be soft and damage can occur resulting in a cat which will not allow to be groomed and this is why the vet does the first cutting usually if he deems necessary otherwise you will be shown how to do it. Keeping in touch with the forever families is always an important factor, you can always reach out and we love receiving updates.

07 Are your rates negotiable?
 • Our rates are not negotiable and they are representative of the outstanding high quality kittens we produce. We work with the finest imported WCF Gold champion lines and health test them thoroughly. Current kitten fee is between $4000-$4500.
 • Note: There is an additional fee of $100 if a health certificate is required for pets travelling by plane otherwise the kitten comes with a Health Passport.
08 Can we pick up in person and can you deliver?
 • Yes, you can pick up your kitten in person at our home or the airport and also we can deliver to you for a fee which is discussed at the time of reservation.
09 Breeders
 • If you are a breeder please give us some information about your Cattery and goals. We take great care about placing our kittens in suitable homes. We may request more information about your breeding program and may ask for more details/ pictures of the kittens future living accommodations. We only sell our kittens to registered, responsable/ethical and cage free catteries. Mentoring to start your own cattery is a program we can offer.

10 out of 10. My husband and I have our perfect blue silver beige ivory marbled tabby male, River, and I gained a friend in Emiliya the breeder. My husband found her off of the TICA website looking for a good registered breeder, little did we know she was the best. She’s breeding with some of the best pedigrees and bloodlines from Europe. She’s responsible, kind, smart, and keeps her operation at a size she can comfortably handle at home so she can provide the best quality of care and attention to her cats and kittens and does it as a hobby, so that she’s not depending on income from the cattery. This is important because it means she isn’t skimping on care or nutrition for the cats to lower her bottom line. Her cats her loved and healthy and come from champion bloodlines. I would assure someone with confidence that Emiliya is one of the most responsible and best breeders in the country! Beautiful sweet cats and top of line communication. We love our River so much!

I had the best experience from the very beginning with Emilya! I started researching Maine Coon breeders in Georgia and Alabama towards the end of 2021. In early 2022, I reached out to a few. The responses were either extremely vague or nothing at all. It was incredibly discouraging and I briefly gave up looking. In March I decided to look again. I pulled up the Tica.org list of registered breeders and saw South Maine Coons on the list. What was so interesting and serendipitous was that the cattery was located in Warner Robins, Georgia where I went to high school and my parents still live. That day I sent a Facebook message and that same day I received a friendly response from Emilya! We ended up on a phone call and she was so kind and very happy to tell me all about her cattery and her cats. She wanted to know about us also to determine if we were the right fit for one of her beautiful cats. It’s easy to see that she cares deeply about her cats and wants them in the right home. She also has extensive knowledge about the breed which she is still so helpful with sharing even after we’ve brought Dexter home.
During the time we waited for him to be ready to be picked up, she offered phone calls and video calls which was so wonderful to be able to see him as well as his parents and siblings playing, feeding, and interacting. She also keeps up with a Tiktok and Instagram account which gives more opportunities to see her current litter plus past litters! She’s wonderful with sharing photos of the previous litters and where they are now and how big they’ve grown.
When we brought Dexter home, his transition into our house was so easy!! I have to give that credit to Emilya for laying the foundation! He knew right away to use his litter box, had a healthy appetite, had a sweet and gentle demeanor, and just adapted so well to us and our home. On his first vet visit (where he was a huge hit with the staff), they asked me a few questions I wasn’t sure about. I texted Emilya and she was quick to respond with the answers plus even more information than I asked for.
From the very first message until now, my experience with Emiliya has been outstanding and we absolutely love our beautiful South Maine Coon kitten!! If we ever decided to get a second one, it will absolutely be from Emiliya!

We had a wonderful experience getting a cat from South Maine Coons. We were able to video chat to see all the kittens and ask questions. I was met at the airport with my new kitten and everything was so easy. Our new family member has the best temperament and we are so happy with the whole experience! My kids have decided to name our new kitten Lucky Charms 🐱

We had such a great experience adopting Armani from South Maine Coons. Emiliya, the breeder, is very friendly and informative. She clearly has a passion and cares about all of the kittens ensuring they will be adopted into the right homes. She gives her cats and kittens the best care and nutrition for their breed and sent us home with a packet of information so we can continue to give our kitten the best care. The entire time we waited to pick up Armani, Emiliya kept us updated with lots of photos and video calls. It was a great experience to see him grow and being kept up to date on how he was doing. She kept the process simple and thoroughly answered all questions we had. After adopting Armani she has kept in touch to check in on him and I feel I can reach out to her with any questions I may have in the future. I highly recommend South Maine Coons for your next furry purry family member!

Emiliya of South Main Coons is wonderful to work with when adopting a Maine Coon. She responded immediately when I first contacted her and we followed up with a video call about 15 minutes later. Her personality, knowledge, and love of her cats and kittens sold me on South Main Coons. We found her website through TICA. While on the video call she showed us Blessing- the one we were interested in – and we made arrangements to purchase and pick her up right then. Emiliya walked us through all the paperwork and we picked her up 3 days later. She had everything ready and advised us of all needed info. Blessing made the transition to our home with no problem. We wanted a kitten as a companion and playmate for our 2 yr old Maine Coon. They were wary of each other for about an hour – and now they are buds. Blessing has made herself at home at our house and is a member of our family. She is a perfect fit for us and I have to credit Emiliya with breeding and raising a well adjusted kitten. I highly recommend Emiliya and South Maine Coons when you are ready to add a kitten to your family.
